While moderate alcohol consumption is ok if you are not suffering from arthritis, but you need to be careful if you have the problem. Many of the prescription medicines of arthritis just don’t gel well with alcohol and might wreak havoc on your body if you don’t listen to the advice.NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), which include ibuprofen and naproxen will trigger stomach bleeding or ulcers if you are on alcohol. A combination of alcohol with leflunomide or acetaminophen can cause severe damage to your liver.
It’s best to adhere to the doctor’s advise and eat according to your condition. Any deviation from the recommended diet will cause a lot of complications later.
